Noida: The Noida Authority has expedited the work on a new underpass in Kondli. It will run between sectors 148 and 150 on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
As per the authority, the construction will be completed by March next year.
It is expected to be used by at least 30,000 commuters. It will also help in easing the traffic congestion in the area.
“The construction of 840-meter long four-lane underpass was started in June, 2020. Earlier, the deadline was set at November 2021. But as the work has picked pace, it is now expected to get completed earlier,” an official said.
The underpass is located at a distance of 19.4 km from the Mahamaya flyover in Noida.
3.5 lakh families are expected to move to newly built residential societies in Sector 150. They will be benefitted by the new underpass.
