Noida: With 61 more people testing positive of Covid-19, Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar tally has risen to 5,806, according to the official data on Friday.
The overall recoveries have jumped to 4,857 after 71 more people getting treated and discharged during the last 24 hours period, the health bulletin showed.
The district’s recovery rate has slightly improved to 83.65 per cent from 83.26 per cent on Thursday. It was 82.72 per cent on Wednesday and 82.95 per cent on Tuesday, according to the statistics.
The district death toll counted to 43, with a mortality rate of 0.74 per cent, it showed. The number of active cases in the district now stood at 906.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 4,467 fresh cases on Friday, while 63 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state tally of positive cases has now reached 1,13,378, of which, 66,834 patients were treated and discharged so far.
There were 44,563 active cases across the state while the death toll counted to 1,981.
