Gurugram: With 99 more people testing positive for Covid-19 on Saturday, the district tally reached 9,634, according to the district health department.

The district’s overall recoveries have jumped to 8,826 after 114 more patients were discharged during the last 24 hours period, the daily health bulletin said.

The recovery rate reached another high of 91.61 per cent in the district, which is second-highest among other districts in the state, according to the statistics.

Till date, the deadly disease has claimed 125 lives in the district, of whom, 87 patients had co-morbidities while 38 patients had no known disease.

As of now, there are 683 active cases in the district, of which, 2 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 74 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 77 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 530 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 789 new cases and seven deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 40,843, while the deadly virus has claimed 474 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 587 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 34,031 in the state. The state recovery rate stood at 83.32 per cent, the data showed.

At the moment, the number of active cases stood at 6,338. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 125, among these, 103 patients are on oxygen support, while 22 on ventilators.

The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.64 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.16 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 28 days.
