Gurugram: Gurugram’s Covid-19 tally has reached 9,714, with 80 more people testing positive for the infection on Sunday, according to the district health department.

In a relief, 100 more patients have been discharged during the last 24 hours, pushing the overall recoveries to 8,926 in the district with a recovery rate of 91.88 per cent, the daily health bulletin said.

As of now, there are 663 active cases in the district, of which, 7 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 60 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 73 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 523 patients are in home isolation.

The district’s death toll counted to 125 so far.

Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 792 new cases and nine deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 41,635, while the deadly virus has claimed 483 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 750 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 34,781 in the state. The state recovery rate slightly improved to 83.54 per cent from 83.32 per cent, the data showed.

At the moment, the number of active cases stood at 6,371. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 147, among these, 122 patients are on oxygen support, while 25 on ventilators.

The state’s Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.64 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.16 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 28 days.
