Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 57 fresh cases of Covid-19, while 63 more patients recovered from the infection, according to the district health department on Monday.
Out of the total 9,771 caseload of Covid-19, 8,989 patients were treated and discharged so far in the district. The recovery rate now stood at 91.99 per cent, which is slightly better than the previous day’s figure of 91.88 per cent, the daily health bulletin said.
So far, the deadly disease has claimed 125 lives in the district.
At the moment, there are 657 active cases in the district, of which, 8 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 81 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 31 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 537 patients are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, the district administration has brought down the number of containment zones from 72 to 15 owing to progressive reduction in the coronavirus cases. In addition, the period of containment has also been reduced to 14 days from 28 days earlier.
As on Monday, Haryana state recorded 794 new cases and six deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 42,429, while the deadly virus has claimed 489 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.
As many as 711 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 35,492 in the state. The state recovery rate slightly improved to 83.65 from 83.54 per cent on Sunday, the data showed.
At the moment, the number of active cases stood at 6,448. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 136, among these, 114 patients are on oxygen support, while 22 on ventilators.
The state’s Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.67 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.15 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 29 days.
