New Delhi: Delhi reported 1,113 fresh coronavirus cases taking the tally to 1,48,504 on Wednesday. With 14 fatalities, the death toll reached 4,153 in the last 24 hours.
As it has been happening in the last one-week, new cases have outnumbered the recoveries again on Wednesday. 1,021 patients recovered from the deadly virus. A total of 1,33,405 patients have recovered in the national capital so far.
It affected the active cases count as well. Active cases increase by 78 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 10,946 active cases.
The active cases rate stands at 7.37 per cent and the Covid-19 death rate is at 2.79 per cent.
Now, there are 5,598 people in home isolation. The number increased by 75 from Tuesday.
Delhi conducted a total of 18,894 (6,472 RTPCR and 12,422 rapid antigen) tests in the last 24 hours. 12,42,739 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in Delhi till date.
The number of containment zones stands at 523.
