Tree falling becomes common during rains in Dwarka

Dwarka: Tree falling has become very common during rains in Dwarka. One can easily witness fallen trees anywhere across the sub-city. These trees fall mostly during or after rain. 

The inclined trees are falling due to their weak roots and weak grip of soil at the roots during rain. 

Due to heavy canopy and inclination on one side, the trees become heavy and it triggers uprooting during or after rain.

Such incidents disturb the traffic on the road and affect pedestrians on footpaths. Besides, the fallen trees damage the parked vehicles.

The photograph of the falling tree was taken today after the rain. The location is at the footpath near Astha Kunj Apartments in Sector 3 and along the slip road.
