Noida: With 72 new cases of Covid-19, Gautam Budh Nagar’s tally rose to 6,302, according to the official data on Friday.
As many as 70 patients were discharged after recovery during the last 24 hours period, taking the overall recoveries to 5,433 in the district. The recovery rate counted to 86.21 per cent, it showed.
According to the state health bulletin, there are 826 active cases in the district, while 43 people died due to coronavirus. The mortality rate counted to 0.68 per cent, it showed.
No death linked to coronavirus has been reported in the district since August 1.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 4,512 fresh cases, while 55 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state tally of positive cases has now reached 1,45,287, of which, 92,526 patients have been treated and discharged so far.
There were 50,426 active cases across the state while death toll counted to 2,335.
