Dwarka: Dwarkiites celebrated 74th Independence Day with great zeal and passion on Saturday. Despite the Covid-19 crisis and many restrictions from the authority, people celebrated the occasion by religiously following the norms and respecting the guidelines.
Relatively lesser number of people were seen during flag hoisting ceremonies.
Still, the managing committees and the RWAs of the societies organised the flag hoisting ceremony properly following the guidelines.
Societies discouraged the gathering and the cultural programmes. But children did some programmes by going live on social media. Some of them made videos and shared them on WhatsApp groups of the societies.
At Agrasen Society, the flag hoisting was streamed live to all the residents. Residents participated in a big way by sending their songs and messages. Many children shared photos and videos of their activities.
