Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 97 fresh cases of Covid-19, while 71 more patients recovered from the infection, according to the district health department on Monday.

Out of the total 10,360 caseload of Covid-19, 9,510 patients were treated and discharged so far in the district. The recovery rate now stood at 91.79 per cent. It slightly dipped from the previous day of 91.97 per cent, the daily health bulletin said.

So far, the deadly disease has claimed 130 lives in the district.

At the moment, there are 720 active cases in the district, of which, 13 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 78 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 24 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 605 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 887 new cases and 12 deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 48,040, while the deadly virus has claimed 550 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 1,009 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 40,610 in the state. The state’s recovery rate slightly improved to 84.53 per cent from 83.98 per cent on Sunday, the data showed.

At present, the number of active cases stood at 6,880. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 150, among these, 127 patients are on oxygen support, while 23 on ventilators.

The state’s Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.66 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.14 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 31 days.
