Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 6,544 as 55 more people tested positive of Covid-19 on Monday, according to the official data.
The district’s overall recoveries have jumped to 5,691 after 121 patients were treated and discharged during the last 24 hours, the health bulletin showed.
The district’s recovery rate has slightly improved to 86.96 per cent from 85.87 per cent on Sunday, according to the statistics.
The number of active cases stood at 810 in the district, while the death toll counted to 43, with a mortality rate of 0.65 per cent among the positive patients, it showed.
No death linked to coronavirus has been reported in the district since August 1.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 4,186 fresh cases, while 69 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state’s tally of positive cases has now reached 1,58,216, of which, 1,04,808 patients were treated and discharged so far.
There were 50,893 active cases across the state, while the death toll counted to 2,515.
