Gurugram: With 98 people testing positive for Covid-19, Gurugram cumulative tally reached 10,458 on Tuesday, according to the district health department.

As many as 55 patients were treated and discharged during the last 24 hours period, pushing the overall recoveries to 9,565 in the district. The recovery rate slightly dipped to 91.46 per cent from 91.79 per cent on Monday and 91.97 per cent on Sunday, according to the statistics.

The district’s death toll counted to 130, of whom, 92 patients had co-morbidities while 38 patients had no known disease, the health bulletin said.

At the moment, there are 763 active cases in the district, of which, 15 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 83 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 22 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 643 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 896 new cases and seven deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 48,936, while the deadly virus has claimed 557 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 688 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 41,298 in the state. The state recovery rate slightly dipped to 84.39 per cent from 84.53 per cent on Monday, the data showed.

At present, the number of active cases stood at 7,081. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 155, among these, 136 patients are on oxygen support, while 19 on ventilators.

The state’s Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.68 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.14 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 32 days.
