Noida: With 127 more people testing positive of Covid-19, Gautam Budh Nagar’s tally rose to 6,901, according to the official data on Friday.
As many as 126 patients were treated and discharged in the last 24 hours, pushing the overall recoveries to 6,065. The recovery rate slightly improved to 87.88 per cent from 87.64 per cent on Thursday. It was 87.64 per cent on Wednesday, 87.61 per cent on Tuesday and 86.96 per cent on Monday, as per the statistics.
The number of active cases in the district counted to 793 which are being treated at various hospitals, while 43 people died due to coronavirus. The mortality rate counted to 0.62 per cent better from 0.63 per cent of previous day, it showed.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 4,991 new cases and 66 deaths in the state during the last 24 hours period.
The state’s tally of positive cases has now reached 1,77,212, of which, 1,26,657 patients were treated and discharged so far. There were 47,785 active cases across the state, while the death toll counted to 2,797.
