Gurugram: Gurugram’s cumulative tally of Covid-19 reached 11,429 as 141 more people tested coronavirus positive on Thursday, according to the district health department.

The district’s death toll rose to 132 as one more person succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.

As many as 93 patients were treated and discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the overall recoveries to 10,360 in the district. The recovery rate slightly dropped to 90.64 per cent from 90.95 per cent on Wednesday. It was 91.13 per cent on Tuesday, 91.32 per cent on Monday, 90.94 per cent on Sunday, and 91.25 per cent on Saturday, according to the statistics.

According to the health bulletin, the number of active cases in the district has also gone up to 937 from 890 on Wednesday and 858 on Tuesday. Of the total active cases, 17 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals while 92 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 15 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 813 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 1,293 new cases and 12 deaths on Thursday, taking the state’s total caseload to 59,298 while death toll counted to 646, according to the state health bulletin.

The overall recoveries counted to 48,690 after 1,077 patients were treated and discharged in the last 24 hours. At the moment, there are 9,962 active cases across the state.

The recovery rate counted to 82.11 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.68 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.09 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 34 days.
