With 93 new coronavirus cases, cumulative tally reaches 7,611 in GB Nagar

Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 7,611 as 93 more people tested positive of Covid-19 on Friday, according to the official data.

As many as 112 patients have been discharged during the last 24 hours, taking the overall recoveries to 6,595. The recovery rate slightly improved to 86.65 per cent from 86.59 per cent on Thursday. It was 86.84 per cent on Wednesday, 86.86 per cent on Tuesday, 86.55 per cent on Monday, and 87.53 per cent on Sunday, as per the statistics.

There are 971 active cases across the district, while the death toll counted to 45 with a mortality rate of 0.59 per cent among the positive cases.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 5,447 fresh cases and 77 deaths linked to coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The state’s cumulative tally rose to 2,13,824, while the death toll counted to 3,294, the state health bulletin said.

Of the total caseload, 1,57,879 patients were treated and discharged so far, while there are 52,651 active cases across the state. The state’s recovery rate counted to 73.83 per cent.
