Gurugram: With 124 people testing positive of Covid-19, Gurugram’s cumulative tally reached 11,679 on Saturday, according to the district health department.

The district’s death toll climbed to 133 as one more person succumbed to infection in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.

The overall recoveries counted to 10,619 after 169 patients were treated and discharged during the last 24 hours period with a recovery rate of 90.92 per cent. It was 90.43 per cent on Friday, 90.64 per cent on Thursday, 90.95 per cent on Wednesday, and 91.13 per cent on Tuesday, according to the statistics.

According to the health bulletin, the number of active cases in the district has come down to 927 from 973 on Friday and 937 on Thursday. Of the total active cases, 20 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 97 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 19 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 791 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 1,391 new cases and nine deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s total caseload to 61,987 while death toll counted to 670, according to the state health bulletin.

The overall recoveries counted to 50,711 after 1,001 patients were treated and discharged in the last 24 hours. At the moment, there are 10,606 active cases across the state.

The recovery rate counted to 81.81 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.65 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.08 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 34 days.
