107 fresh coronavirus cases in GB Nagar; active cases rise to 1,009
Noida: With 107 fresh cases of Covid-19, Gautam Budh Nagar’s total caseload rose to 7,834 on Sunday, according to the official data.
The number of active cases in the district has gone up to 1,009 from 1,002 on Saturday and 971 on Friday, it showed.
As many as 98 more patients were treated and discharged during the last 24 hours, taking the district’s overall recoveries to 6,780. The recovery rate slightly improved to 86.54 per cent from 86.45 per cent on Saturday. It was 86.65 per cent on Friday, 86.59 per cent on Thursday, 86.84 per cent on Wednesday, and 86.86 per cent on Tuesday, as per the statistics.
The district’s death toll counted to 45 with a mortality rate of 0.57 per cent among the positive cases.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 6,233 fresh cases and 67 deaths linked to coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The state’s cumulative tally rose to 2,25,632, while the death toll counted to 3,423, the state health bulletin said.
Of the total caseload, 1,67,543 patients were treated and discharged so far, while there are 54,666 active cases across the state. The state’s recovery rate counted to 74.25 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.52 per cent.
