Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has found a new way to address the challenges in fixing potholes on city’s roads.

They have released a helpline number where complaints on potholes will be taken from different locations in the city. The authority will be acting on the complaints and fixing the potholes within a month.

The CEO of GNIDA Narendra Bhooshan said that there were no arrangements to separately fix the potholes earlier, rather, the potholes used to be repaired only when the tenders for the repair of the entire stretch were awarded.

The process has been simplified with the launch of the helpline number. Office-in-charge of work circle V has been appointed as the nodal officer for the initiative.

Now, the authority has hired services of a private agency for three years. The agency will attend to complaints in a particular locality on three days per month.

To register their complaints, the residents can log on to the portal set up by the authority or can report potholes on 0120-2336046 and over WhatsApp at 8800203912.
