Gurugram reports 184 new coronavirus cases; active cases climb to 1,145
Gurugram: With 184 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, Gurugram’s cumulative tally reached 12,297, according to the district health department.
The total number of active cases further climbed up to 1,145 from 1,048 on Tuesday, while the death toll counted to 133 in the district.
The district’s overall recoveries counted to 11,019 after 87 patients were treated and discharged during the last 24 hours period. The district’s recovery rate slightly dropped to 89.60 per cent from 90.25 per cent on Tuesday. It was 90.54 per cent on Monday, 90.69 per cent on Sunday, and 90.92 per cent on Saturday, according to the statistics.
Meanwhile, Haryana recorded its single-day highest spike of 1,792 new cases, taking the state’s tally of positive cases to 68,218, according to the state health bulletin.
The death toll counted to 721 as 15 more patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours. The state’s overall recoveries counted to 54,875, while the total number of active cases stood at 12,622.
The state’s recovery rate counted to 80.44 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.73 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.06 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 34 days.
