Gurugram: Gurugram’s cumulative tally rose to 13,986 on Wednesday, as 260 more people tested positive of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the district health department.

As many as 182 patients have been recovered during the 24 hours period, taking the district overall recoveries to 11,988 with a recovery rate of 85.71 per cent. It was 86.01 per cent on Tuesday, 86.47 per cent on Monday, 86.31 per cent on Sunday, 87.26 per cent on Saturday, 88.18 per cent on Friday, 88.81 per cent on Thursday, and 89.60 per cent on Wednesday, according to the statistics.

The number of active cases has further climbed up to 1,858 from 1760 on Tuesday. It was 1,682 on Monday, 1,686 on Sunday, 1520 on Saturday, 1,372 on Friday, 1,265 on Thursday, 1,145 on Wednesday and 1,048 on Tuesday, as per the data.

Of the total active cases, 18 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 155 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 23 are under observation at district Covid care centre whereas 1,662 patients are in home isolation.

So far, the deadly disease has claimed 140 lives in the district, of whom, 98 patients had co-morbidities, while 42 patients had no known disease.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 2,294 fresh cases, taking the state’s total infection tally to 83,353, while the death toll counted to 882 as 28 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours.

The state’s overall recoveries counted to 65,143, while the total number of active cases stood at 17,328.

The state’s recovery rate counted to 78.15 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 6.11 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.06 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 30 days.
