Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 336 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Monday, taking the district’s cumulative tally to 15,585 according to the district health department.
In the three successive days, more than 300 cases have been added on a daily basis with 339 on Sunday and 326 on Saturday being reported here.
Also, the district’s death toll rose to 149 as two more patients succumbed to the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.
The number of active cases further rose to 2,317 from 2,232 on Sunday. There were 1,682 active cases last Monday, as per the data.
Of the total active cases, 22 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 179 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 36 are under observation at district Covid care centre whereas 2,080 patients are in home isolation.
The district’s overall recoveries counted to 13,119 after 249 patients were treated and discharged during the 24 hours period. The recovery rate further slipped to 84.17 per cent from 84.39 per cent on Sunday. It was 84.48 per cent on Saturday, 85.03 per cent on Friday, 85.37 per cent on Thursday, and 85.71 per cent on Wednesday, according to the statistics.
Meanwhile, Haryana’s death toll rose to 1,000 as 25 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
With 2,488 fresh cases, the state’s total infection tally reached 96,129, of them, 74,712 patients have been recovered so far, while the total number of active cases stood at 20,417.
The state’s recovery rate counted to 77.72 per cent, while the Covid-19 positive rate counted to 6.38 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.04 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 27 days.
