Gurugram: With 324 more people testing positive of Covid-19 on Tuesday, Gurugram’s cumulative tally rose to 15,909, according to the district health department.

Also, two more patients succumbed to the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, pushing the district’s death toll to 151, the health bulletin said.

The number of active cases further rose to 2,439 from 2,317 on Monday. Of the total active cases, 22 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 178 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 36 are under observation at district Covid care centre whereas 2,203 patients are in home isolation.

The district’s overall recoveries counted to 13,319 after 200 patients were treated and discharged during the 24 hours period. The recovery rate further slipped to 83.71 per cent from 84.17 per cent on Monday. It was 84.39 per cent on Sunday, 84.48 per cent on Saturday, 85.03 per cent on Friday, 85.37 per cent on Thursday, and 85.71 per cent on Wednesday, according to the statistics.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 2,493 new cases, pushing the state’s tally to 98,622, while the death toll rose to 1,026 as 26 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.

Of the state’s total caseload, 77,166 patients have been recovered so far, while the total number of active cases stood at 20,430.

The state’s recovery rate counted to 78.24 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 6.45 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.04 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 27 days.
