Noida: The ongoing dispute over usage of common area between Amrapali Sapphire I and II turned ugly on Sunday when the on-duty guards went ahead and dismantled a temporary barrier which was dividing the two societies from each other.
Amrapali Sapphire I and II are built adjacent to each other in Sector 45 in Noida.
Three to four watchmen dismantled the barrier installed in the basement. A source said that the barrier was placed for allowing residents of these two respective societies to use their own common areas.
But after receiving direction from higher authorities of Amrapali Sapphire II, on-duty guards allegedly dismantled the barrier.
The sources said that the situation was so tense that they called the police for controlling it. It was only controlled when the police reached the society, they told.
Seeking a solution to the problem, residents of the society wrote to the court receiver informing about the incident. They urged him to initiate action for an amicable solution of the problem.
As per the communication forwarded, residents informed him that they would like to draw his attention for taking initiative to resolve common area issues between these two societies.
