Supertech Capetown: Newly formed sports club gets good response from residents

Noida: Sports enthusiasts, belonging to Supertech Capetown, a highrise residential society in Sector 74, Noida, recently formed a sports club for keeping themselves physically fit. It is getting good response from other residents of the society as the club has added 12 more members over a couple of weeks.

Early in the morning, they gather at an open ground besides the society to play together. They maintain social distancing during this ongoing challenging time. After a few rounds of morning walks, they play for an hour at the ground.

Navin Dubey, a resident of the society said that waking up early in the morning and performing some exercises not only help in releasing all exhaustion but also keep us fresh throughout the day.

The club was recently started by Prashant Kushavah, Amit Tiwari, Vishal Agarwal and Advocate Navin Dubey, who are residents of the society. The club is now attracting senior citizens, youths and children as they like playing cricket.

Dubey said that the initiative is getting good response. He informed that 76-year-old DR Chaurasiya has also joined them recently. “Members of the club are now planning to add other sports like Badminton, Kabaddi, and Kho Kho etc in the near future,” he added.

The members not only play games but also take part in cleaning the ground with the help of society’s staff. They want to keep the playing area clean.
