Noida honours RWAs, housing societies for maintaining cleanliness

Noida: In an event held at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Sector 6, on Friday to mark the 151th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Noida Authority honoured resident welfare associations and housing societies.

Arun Vihar RWA (AVRWA) was awarded first rank in the Swachhta Ranking competition of RWAs organised by Noida.

Speaking on the occasion, Col (retired) Shashi Vaid, chairman of the RWA said that they are glad to inform that their RWA has been awarded first prize for the second consecutive term. It also got first prize in the RWA category last year.

In Swachh Noida Ranking 2020-21, apartment owner association of Grand Omaxe, Sector 93B was ranked first position in the sub-competition. It was awarded first prize for securing Rank-1 in the Swachh AoA category. The society was given second prize in the category of Swachh Housing Society for maintaining 3rd rank (October to December) 2019.

Prateek Laurel’s Apartment Owner Association received third rank in Swachh AoA category. 

Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Singh, Secretary of the AoA said that he would now motivate housekeeping staff and residents to improve ranking to secure first position in the future.

Ritu Maheshwari, chief executive officer of Noida, gave prizes and appreciation certificates to all winners on the occasion.
