Noida: Parents stage protest against school admin over fee issue

Noida: Agitated over not getting allowed to meet school administration over their children’s concerns, a group of parents on Monday staged a protest outside Uttarakhand Public School in Sector 56, Noida.

They alleged that the school administration is not allowing their children to sit in the half-yearly school examination.

Naresh Rawat, a parent said that the school administration is not allowing several students to write the half-yearly examination. They gathered at the school's main entry gate to discuss the problems. But they were prohibited from entering into the school.

It caused a lot of anger among the parents who were present at the entry gate. After several attempts to meet the administration, they were allegedly not allowed to meet them. Considering it a serious issue for their children, they protested outside the school’s entry gate.

Another parent, Devendra Rawat said that the examination was scheduled from Monday onwards. But students were not allowed to write the paper as their parents didn't pay school fees.

Rawat said that they are paying the amount in parts to the school and added that they will make payment of the entire amount. They shared that they are facing problems due to the ongoing pandemic. He said, “We reached the school to discuss it with school administration but we were stopped at the entry gate.”
