206 fresh coronavirus cases in Gurugram; recovery rate at 88.23 pc
Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 206 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Monday, pushing the district’s total infection count to 21,938, according to the district health department.
The district’s overall recoveries jumped to 19,358 after 213 patients were treated and discharged during the day.
The recovery rate slightly improved to 88.23 per cent from 88.09 per cent on Sunday. It was 88.05 per cent on Saturday and 87.99 per cent on Friday, according to the statistics.
According to the health bulletin, the number of active cases slightly dropped to 2,401 from 2,408 on Sunday. It was 2,385 on Saturday, 2,366 on Friday, 2,371 on Thursday and 2,407 on Wednesday, as per data.
Of the total active cases, 19 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 172 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 25 are under observation at district Covid care centre whereas 2,185 patients are in home isolation.
So far, the district’s death toll counted to 179, of whom, 129 patients had co-morbidities, while 50 patients had known disease.
Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 1,031 new cases, pushing the state’s tally to 1,34,909, while the death toll rose to 1,491 as 21 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, 1,21,596 patients have recovered so far, while the total number of active cases stood at 11,822.
The state’s recovery rate counted to 90.13 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 6.63 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.11 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 33 days.
