Noida: Chief Executive Officer of Noida Authority, Ritu Maheshwari on Tuesday inaugurated two organic waste composting machines in the city. They were installed at sectors 29 and 37.
She formally inaugurated them online in a ceremony held at Sector 29, Arun Vihar.
The ceremony was attended by officials of Noida Authority, FONRWA's president and general secretary, office bearers and heads of other RWAs, AWRWA's ward directors and members of Brig Hak's committee which was nominated for selection of waste disposal mode.
“With effect from this month, JBSS shall be handling our Garbage disposal process,” Col (retired) Shashi Vaid, Chairman AVRWA said.
Col Vaid said, “These machines have been installed strategically so that needs of entire residents for disposal of wet waste can be met. Now, the residents can dispose of kitchen waste according to their convenience.”
