Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar recorded 154 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the district’s cumulative tally to 14,531 on Thursday, according to the official data.
In a relief, 139 patients were treated and discharged during the day, bringing the overall recoveries to 12,927 with a recovery rate of 88.96 per cent, slightly up from 88.94 per cent on Wednesday. It was 89.47 per cent on Tuesday, 89.93 per cent on Monday, and 89.88 per cent on Sunday, the data said.
The number of active cases in the district stood at 1,548, slightly up from Wednesday’s 1,533. It was 1,434 on Tuesday, 1,345 on Monday, 1,333 on Sunday, and 1,538 on Saturday, as per the data.
The district’s death toll counted to 56 and the fatality rate among the positive cases counted to 0.38 per cent same as on the previous day.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh detected 3,376 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the state’s infection count to 4,27,459. The death toll rose to 6,245 as 45 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 42,552 active cases, while 3,78,662 patients have recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 88.58 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.46 per cent.
