With 105 fresh cases, coronavirus tally reaches 15,188 in GB Nagar
Noida: With 105 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 15,188 on Tuesday, according to the official data.
As many as 125 patients were treated and discharged during the day, bringing the overall recoveries to 13,571 with a recovery rate of 89.35 per cent, slightly up from 89.13 per cent on Monday.
The number of active cases in the district slightly dropped to 1,557 from Monday’s 1,579. It was 1,615 on Sunday, 1,594 on Saturday, 1,579 on Friday, 1,548 on Thursday, 1,533 on Wednesday, and 1,434 on Tuesday, as per the data.
So far, the deadly disease has claimed 60 lives in the district and the fatality rate among the positive cases counted to 0.39 per cent, one of the lowest in the state, as per the data.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 3,033 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the state’s infection count to 4,42,118. The death toll rose to 6,466 as 29 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 38,082 active cases, while 3,97,570 patients have recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 89.92 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.46 per cent.
