Lack of maintenance makes footpaths unusable in Dwarka
Dwarka: Unusable footpaths are a common sight in Dwarka. Growth of wild bushes, grasses and weeds make them unusable. On top of it, there are also open manholes, making them dangerous.
Such manholes are hidden in wild bushes, inviting danger to anyone who uses the footpath.
People find it extremely difficult to use such ill-maintained footpaths. Walking on such footpaths is not safe for them.
After the rainy season, such footpaths are cleaned and maintained properly by the civic bodies. But the work is very slow this year.
Many footpaths are left untouched and they are lying in bad shape.
