Noida: With 110 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 15,913 on Sunday, according to the official data.
One more person succumbed to deadly disease in the last 24 hours, pushing the district’s death toll to 65. The fatality rate among the positive cases stood at 0.40 per cent same as on the previous day, as per the data.
As many as 264 patients were treated and discharged during the day, climbing the overall recoveries to 14,619 in the district. The recovery rate further improved to 91.86 per cent from 90.83 per cent on the previous day, the data showed.
The number of active cases in the district further dropped to 1,229 from 1,384 on Saturday. It was 1,477 on Friday, 1,523 on Thursday, 1,528 on Wednesday, 1,557 on Tuesday, 1,579 on Monday, and 1,615 on Sunday, as per the data.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 2,503 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the state’s infection count to 4,55,146. The death toll rose to 6,658 as 29 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 32,896 active cases, while 4,15,592 patients have recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 91.30 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.46 per cent.
