Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 228 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the district’s cumulative tally to 25,617 on Monday, according to the district health department.
Also, one more person succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, pushing the district’s death toll 191, the health bulletin said.
However, in a relief, the overall recoveries jumped to 23,054 after 253 patients were treated and discharged during the day with a recovery rate almost nearing 90 per cent, as per the data.
According to the health bulletin, the number of active cases slightly dropped to 2,372 from 2,398 on the previous day. Among them, 2,189 patients are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 1,201 new cases, pushing the state’s tally to 1,51,234, while the state’s death toll rose to 1,648 as eight more persons succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
On a brighter side, 1,39,511 patients have been recovered so far, while the total number of active cases rose to 10,075 from 10,042 on the previous day.
The state’s recovery rate counted to 92.25 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 6.35 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.09 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 43 days.
