New Delhi: Delhi on Thursday recorded 3,882 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 3,44,318. The number of new cases reported came out of 58,770 tests conducted on the previous day.

Delhi recorded 3,686 new cases on Wednesday, 3,579 on Tuesday, 2,154 on Monday, 3,299 on Sunday, 3,259 on Saturday, 3,428 on Friday and 3,483 on Thursday, as per the data.

58,770 tests were conducted, of which 16,795 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 41,975 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 6.61 per cent.

35 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 6,163. 47 deaths were reported on Wednesday, 41 on Tuesday, 31 on Monday, 28 on Sunday, 35 on Saturday, 22 on Friday and 26 on Thursday.

2,727 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 3,12,918 in the national capital. The recovery rate declined to 90.88 per cent from 91.11 per cent on the previous day.

The number of active cases in the national capital now counted to 25,237. Among them, 14,979 are in home isolation.

Out of the total number of 15,742 beds in Covid hospitals, 10,626 are vacant.
