The big potholes on the stretch between Gaur Grandeur Apartments and Millennium Public School in Sector 119, Noida, have been leveled off recently. Officials of Noida Authority have kept their word and the residents are enormously relieved that their ride will no longer be bumpy.
More than 500m of the stretch from the Millennium Public School to the entry gate of Gaur Grandeur Apartments has been eroded away due to overflowing open drains. It was difficult for residents to even walk down this patch, as there would always be ankle-high water on the road.
The residents had brought the issue to City Spidey’s notice around two weeks back. It decided to take up the matter with the officials of Noida Authority. The officials promised that they would solve the inconvenience soon.
After repairing the road and channelising the drain overflow, MP Sharma, project engineer of Noida Authority, said that he would carry out a drive to fill all potholes and repair the broken roads of Sectors 71, 119, 120, 121, 122 and Noida Extension.
