New Delhi: Following the arrest over molestation of three women and a minor girl, the 35-year-old Delhi Police Sub-Inspector was dismissed from the service on Monday.
Delhi Police informed that the SI was dismissed from the service by the disciplinary authority.
The SI had flashed, passed indecent remarks and stalked three women and a minor girl. The arrest happened after the police found the concrete evidence against him after examining the CCTV footage.
He has been booked under Indian Penal Code’s sections 354-D (Stalking), 354 (Molestation), 354 A and 509 (Sexual harassment) and sections 8 and 10 of Preventions of Children from Sexual Offences (Posco) Act.
A minor girl and two women had filed their complaints against the SI.
The police said that Puneet Grewal was arrested after a week-long investigation during which the act was confirmed.
