Noida: Residents of Lotus Boulevard, a highrise in Sector 100, elected nine candidates out of 20 contestants who were in the fray for recently concluded Apartment Owner Association election of the society.
Returning officer declared results on Sunday late night as the counting was started late in the evening.
According to the results, Vivek Srivastava got highest votes, followed by Vinod Kumar Tiwari and Ved Prakash Mehta. They got 21, 20 and 18 ballets respectively.
The other winners include Major (retired) Upwan Saini, Tej Prakash, Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Kamal Jeet Kaur, Amit Kumar Sharma, and Abhinay Singh.
The winning candidates celebrated it and thanked residents for coming out to exercise their rights on election date.
Residents told that the election was conducted free and fairly as ballets casted on the day was put before each representative of candidates or themselves present during the counting held on Sunday.
To curb the spread of Covid-19 virus by maintaining social distancing, the election committee handed over slip for voting to members of the society management board in advance.
