AOA election buzz at Prateek Laurel, candidates woo voters
Noida: As the apartment owners association election at Prateek Laurel nears, all the candidates are preparing to woo voters. The election is scheduled on November 22.
Uday Kumar Jain, who ruled for two consecutive terms as secretary and president of the AOA in the past said that his team is in the fray for the coming election. He said that his team has been formed considering the need of youths, senior citizens and ladies. It has youth, ladies and senior citizen as contesting members. They would take care of needs of different categories of residents in the society.
He said that currently residents of the society have two major issues. The repair of wall paster and painting is due in the society.
He said, “We have already decided that these works would be given on priority. We would ensure best quality of work if we are voted to power.” “We would also pay attention to solve the parking issues, and making the water and sewerage treatment plant fully functional,” he added.
The team is also preparing to increase the facility at temple premises in the society. Jain said, “Facilities would be increased at temple so that residents would comfortably offer prayers.”
They have also included some new and environment friendly initiatives in their manifesto. Jain said that they are going to conserve water for recharging ground water level by making provision of functional rain water harvesting, save energy by installing solar lights in the society and would certainly begin management of solid waste.
Jain said that for the convenience of senior citizens, they are working on a plan of bringing movable dispensary in the society. It would come twice or thrice in a week to offer services to residents especially senior citizens.
