Noida: Mehendi drawing competition held on Karva Chauth

Noida: An educational institute with name Challenger Group, that provides free education to underprivileged children, organised a Mehendi drawing competition on the eve of Karva Chauth. It was held on Tuesday at Sector 63, Noida.

While the competition was in progress, students of the institution applied Mehendi on palms of different ladies. They were looking beautiful as students painted their hands with attractive designs.

Founder of the institution, Prince Sharma told that the competition was organised to provide a platform to girls for showcasing their talent during the Karva Chauth festival. They also demonstrated their skills of drawing Mehendi.

He said, “It helps the students to get familiar with Indian culture and learn more about it. Besides it also helps them to develop a constructive thought while drawing Mehendi.”

The competition was organised keeping the popular culture of applying Mehendi during Karva Chauth in mind. During this festival, most women applied it on their palms to look attractive.

Arti, Anuradha, Komal and other members were present on the occasion.
