Noida: Impressed with the active role of police in ensuring safety and security, the residents of Noida organised an event to felicitate them. It was held at community centre in Sector 35.

During the event, police personnel were honoured. They are Rajneesh Verma, ACP - 2 Noida, Anil Kumar, Police Station Officer, Sector 58, Idrish, Head Constable, Uzair Rizvi, Constable with Sector 24 police station, Adil Zaidi, Constable with Surveillance Team, Commissioner of Police Noida, Feroz Khan, Constable, Vikrant Pawar, Malook Singh, Vijendra Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Rinku Pawar, Rishi Rajput, Priyansh, Pushpendra, and Pawan Kumar, Incharge of Surveillance Team.

A representative from District Development Resident Welfare Association, Gautam Budh Nagar, said that the event was organised for felicitation of police personnel who had done commendable job in providing safety and security to residents.

The association said that police have made very effective and good arrangements for the safety of the residents and have shown extraordinary ability and determination to stop crime in Gautam Budh Nagar district.

One of the residents said that they all remember and acknowledge the efforts of police in solving the tough cases where criminals did not leave any evidence and there was no CCTV footage as well. “To honour all those policemen and show our gratitude, a small function was organised,” he said.
