Noida: The residents need not complain against unhygienic conditions as the Noida Authority has decided to complete the sanitation work in a time bound manner. This is an outcome of a review meeting held on Tuesday.
While chairing the meeting, Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer of the authority, directed officials for optimal use of information technology to improve sanitation services.
She said that the work would now be divided between two different officers on special duty so that they would ensure better monitoring of sanitation services.
They would also first identify the works and would fix a target each week to get it completed on time. They would be assigned with responsibility of looking after bio degradation of wet waste, construction and demolition waste etc.
They would conduct regular review meetings of the works in progress to ensure that each and obstacles are solved.
She said, “Each officer would fix a target of completing one work every week. This would ensure that no work is pending there on the ground.”
“We have infrastructure available for providing quality services to residents. But it is under-utilised, due to which quality of services do not improve,” she added.
