New Delhi: Delhi on Sunday reported 3,235 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 4,85,405. The number of new cases reported came out of 21,098 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 9,221 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 11,877 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 15.33 per cent.
Delhi reported 95 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 7,614. 96 deaths were reported on Saturday, 91 on Friday, 104 on Thursday, 85 on Wednesday, 83 on Tuesday and 71 on Monday.
7,606 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 4,37,801 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 90.19 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by significant margin on Sunday. Active cases decreased by 4,466 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 39,990 active cases. A total of 27,089 patients are in home isolation in the national capital.
Out of the total 16,654 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 7,913 beds are vacant.
