Noida: All the sitting members of Kendriya Vihar’s Apartment Owners Association (AOA), a densely populated residential pocket in Sector 51, Noida, managed to retain power of the executive committee in the society's election held on Monday.
According to the returning officers, two teams, comprising sixteen members in each one, were in the fray. All the members of the sitting executive committee got maximum votes in the election held for tenure of 2020 to 2022. They were declared winners after counting was concluded on Monday late evening.
As per the result list, the residents of the society elected Dr Laxmi Shankar Sharma, SK Suresh, Sharad Jain, BC Upadhya, GK Nayar for the posts of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer respectively.
They are currently on the executive committee of the society. Besides, G S Karakoti, Jodhpal, Anand Kaushal, Ashok Mukherjee, Krishna Kumar, M Sachadeva, P B Thapaliyal, Raj Narayan, K M Gupta, and Vikas Jain were elected as executive committee members.
The residents said that it was tough to hold the election during the ongoing challenging time but they have managed to conduct it in compliance with the instructions issued for holding it safely. It was conducted freely and fairly, the returning officer said.
