New Delhi: Delhi on Monday reported 3,726 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 5,70,374. The number of new cases reported came out of 50,670 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 26,645 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 24,025 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 7.35 per cent.
108 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,174. 68 deaths were recorded on Sunday, 89 on Saturday, 98 on Friday, 91 on Thursday and 99 on Wednesday.
5,824 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,28,315 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 92.62 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by significant margin on Monday. Active cases declined by 2,206 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 32,885 active cases.
Out of the total 18,694 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 10,596 are vacant.
