New Delhi: Delhi on Thursday reported 3,734 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 5,82,058. The number of new cases reported came out of 75,230 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 33,298 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 41,932 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 4.96 per cent.
82 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,424. 82 deaths were recorded on Wednesday, 86 on Tuesday, 108 on Monday, 68 on Sunday and 89 on Saturday.
4,834 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,43,514 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 93.37 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by significant margin on Thursday. Active cases declined by 1,182 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 29,120 active cases.
Out of the total 18,719 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 11,734 are vacant.
