New Delhi: LG Anil Baijal on Saturday inaugurated nine holes in redevelopment of Phase II of Qutab Golf Course. The inauguration was done in the presence of Anurag Jain, Vice Chairman of Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
A state-of-the-art Driving Range was also inaugurated by LG Anil Baijal. The double level Driving Range has 28 bays along with a number of other facilities like, simulator room, teaching room, fitting room, pro shop, coffee shop, etc. The range is floodlit and also has an artificial turf putting arena.
The DDA has also developed a 9-hole public golf course at Bhalswa. The work has been awarded for a championship level golf course with yardage of over 7,100 yards at Sector 24, Dwarka.
Redevelopment of Qutab Golf Course started in 2016. After completion of the redevelopment of Phase I of the course, the front 9 holes of the course were inaugurated by LG Anil Baijal on October 7, 2018.
The new club house at the golf course was also inaugurated LG Anil Baijal on February 24, 2019. Club house has been designed in-house by DDA's Architecture Department.
