Noida: As the electricity supply of 50 flats was disrupted in Sethi Max Royal, a highrise in Sector 76, the Noida Authority has served a notice to the developer of the society.
The notice was served after complaints from residents of the society. The residents complained that the developer appointed private agency has not been sharing the user ID and password with the society management committee, despite handover of the society.
They said that the agency has disrupted power supply of 50 houses in the society.
It prompted the authority to issue notice to the developer asking him to ensure that user ID and password should be given immediately to the society’s management committee.
In the notice, the authority reminded the developer that it was already instructed to him that user ID and Password should be shared with the committee.
It said, “The developer is again being directed to share the user ID and password along with customers' details, which is currently with the private agency still working in the society.”
Through the notice, the authority also warned the realty company that an action would be taken as per the law under the UP Apartment Act if the developer fails to comply with the direction.
“The developer has to apprise the authority with a compliance report within a week time, failing which an action may be initiated,” the notice stated.
