New Delhi: Delhi on Monday reported 1,674 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 5,93,924. The number of new cases reported came out of 53,207 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 21,362 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 31,845 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 3.15 per cent.
63 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,706. 69 deaths were recorded on Sunday, 77 on Saturday, 73 on Friday, 82 on Thursday and 82 on Wednesday.
3,818 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,61,732 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 94.57 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by significant margin on Monday. Active cases declined by 2,207 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 22,486 active cases.
Out of the total 18,813 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 12,790 are vacant.
