New Delhi: Delhi on Friday reported 2,385 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,03,535. The number of new cases reported came out of 71,679 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 31,724 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 39,955 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 3.33 per cent.
60 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,934. 61 deaths were recorded on Thursday, 50 on Wednesday, 57 on Tuesday, 63 on Monday and 69 on Sunday.
2,402 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,74,925 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 95.25 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Friday. Active cases declined by 77 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 18,676 active cases.
Out of the total 18,853 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 13,899 are vacant.
