New Delhi: Delhi on Saturday reported 1,935 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,05,470. The number of new cases reported came out of 73,413 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 32,578 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 40,835 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 2.64 per cent.
47 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,981. 60 deaths were recorded on Friday, 61 on Thursday, 50 on Wednesday, 57 on Tuesday and 63 on Monday.
3,191 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,78,116 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 95.48 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Saturday. Active cases declined by 1,303 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 17,373 active cases.
Out of the total 18,814 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 14,183 are vacant.
